About the Role

We're a fast-moving, internationally operating business headquartered in the UAE and are looking for a commercially sharp, French-speaking demand planning professional to take ownership of forecasting, procurement and supplier negotiations at a senior level.

What you'll do:
  1. Demand Planning & Forecasting
    • Develop and manage demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales inputs
    • Collaborate with Sales and Finance to align forecasts with business targets and budgets
    • Continuously monitor forecast accuracy and drive proactive improvements
  2. Commercial Supplier Negotiations
    • Lead end-to-end negotiations with international and local suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms
    • Represent the company's commercial interests independently and with full accountability for outcomes
    • Communicate fluently in French (written and spoken) with French-speaking suppliers and partners — this is mandatory
  3. Procurement & Inventory Management
    • Oversee full procurement cycles including PFIs, POs, DNs, and all associated documentation
    • Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and replenishment cycles to maintain optimal inventory health
    • Identify slow-moving stock and recommend corrective pricing or procurement actions
  4. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Lead and support a team of demand planning coordinators and executives
    • Act as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, and Operations
    • Prepare KPI reports and dashboards and deliver data-driven recommendations to management

We are looking for:
  • 5–8 years in demand planning, of automotive, any other MNC or similar large scale industry.
  • Fluent English and French — both spoken and written (mandatory).
  • Proven track record in commercial supplier negotiations with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong ERP proficiency (NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills, Power BI skills.
  • Experience in automotive, trading, or distribution — strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working across international time zones with high availability.
